WW - Vacheron & Constantin Extra Piatto or Extra Flat, Genève, ref 7243, circa 1960s, manual wind, 31mm x 37mm to lug tips, 4.2mm thick including crystal, 16mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold snap back case, brown alligator strap signed Vacheron with an AW 18K gold buckle strap, original white dial with applied gold baton indices, 17J cal 1003, Genève sealed movement, case s#424634, mvt s#593860, triple signed. Includes the original Vacheron & Constantin paperwork dated 1968. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 10.2 dwt (15.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide to steelwork, hardly any fine scratches to plates; excellent-plus dial with very light surface spotting, small mark at 9; fine gold hands; lightly polished case shows little wear, several light dings on backs of lugs; crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
